The Cross Country team competed in the Chief Invitational Saturday at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex. Both Girls and Boys placed 5th in a field of 10 teams. It was a great way to kick off the season although it got a bit toasty as the day went on.

Brandy Betancourt (23:17), Marlee Shuping (23:39), Maryn Schubiger (24:10), Ava Keefer (24:31), and Mackenzie Johnston (24:56) all scored for the Lady Sharks. .30 SB Thomas Jensen (18:22), Logan Martinez (19:16.30), Archer Hynes (20:02), Carter Jones (20:04), and Oscar Hynes (20:31) scored for the boys.

"The Fastest Fins on Two Feet" travel to The Wilmington Beach Blast on Friday. They're looking forward to riding the cool Autumn breeze to some personal best times. Wish them luck!
